Contract: Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £27,254 - £28,598 FTE (dependent on experience)

A welcoming and supportive school is seeking a dedicated School Administrator to join their friendly office team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys being at the heart of school life, supporting staff, pupils and families every day.
The RoleAs the first point of contact for the school, you ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. No two days are the same, and you ll be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties including:
- Welcoming visitors, parents, pupils, staff and deliveries while providing a professional and friendly reception service.
- Managing the main reception, answering telephone calls, transferring calls, taking messages and responding to enquiries.
- Providing administrative support for SEND.
- Monitoring and responding to the school s email inbox.
- Managing and administering Nursery Funding.
- Producing and distributing the school newsletter (approved by the Head Teacher).
- Preparing pupil reports and gathering data for staff and external organisations.
- Supporting the management of school property, maintenance schedules and servicing of equipment.
- Ordering stationery, educational resources, staff uniform and other supplies while ensuring excellent value for money.
- Raising requisitions and purchase orders using Sage.
- Coordinating the ordering and distribution of school milk and fruit.
- Assisting with the maintenance of the school s Management Information System (MIS).
- Producing pupil data and statistics for internal and external agencies.
- Supporting assessment tracking and recording statutory assessment data.
- Administering school admissions.
- Completing a variety of additional administrative duties as required.
We re looking for someone who:
- Has previous administration experience (school experience is desirable but not essential).
- Is confident using Microsoft Office and school systems (experience with MIS and Sage would be advantageous).
- Has excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Communicates professionally with staff, parents, pupils and visitors.
- Has a keen eye for detail and maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Can work independently as well as part of a supportive team.
