B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer

Boscombe Down, Wiltshire (Amesbury, Wiltshire) Job Type: Full time, Onsite Volantes is seeking a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our client’s team at their facility in Boscombe Down. The client has a 40‑year heritage in the rotary field and is well known for maintaining Leonardo aircraft.

• Provide and communicate regular engineering reports to the Head of Maintenance / Head of Department
• Certify work within the scope of company authorisations
• Carry out line and base maintenance at any of the facilities, and also off‑site upon customer demand
• Undertake all tasks related to aircraft maintenance
• Ensure the highest quality and standards of work are completed in relation to aircraft, components and documentation
• Maintain facilities, equipment and premises to an acceptable standard
• Debrief operational crew members to ensure defects are accurately defined and recorded
• Analyse and interpret technical aircraft information
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the business
• Maintain compliance with industry requirements and authorities (e.g., CAA, EASA)
• Comply with all Continuing Professional Development requirements relevant to company policies and reporting authority
• Complete all tasks efficiently and compliantly, ensuring safety matters are always considered
