Job Introduction

Are you a compassionate and motivated Nursing Associate looking to develop your skills and make a real difference to people in their own homes and communities ?

We are looking for a Nursing Associate to join our friendly Community Nursing Team, working alongside a wider multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, holistic and person-centred care to patients on the district nursing caseload.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your knowledge and skills across a broad range of community settings, supporting people of all ages and working with individuals to promote their independence, dignity and wellbeing . You’ll have the opportunity to develop a wide range of clinical competencies while building strong relationships with patients, families and colleagues.

As a Nursing Associate, you’ll work within your scope of practice and competency framework, carrying out a range of duties delegated by registered practitioners. You’ll be supported to develop your confidence and clinical skills while also having the opportunity to work independently , always remaining accountable to the appropriate registered practitioner .

You will be expected to uphold the NMC Code of Professional Standards of Practice and Behaviour for Nursing Associates and demonstrate the core values of nursing —
compassion, competence , communication, courage , care and commitment — in everything you do.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours based at Amesbury Health Centre, SP4 7AL

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Registered as a Nurse Associate with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Full UK driving licence and acess to a vehicle
  • Able to work independently , using own initiative and knowing when to seek advice
  • Previous experience in a care or health setting
  • Experience of managing patients with complex needs in the community
  • Understanding national drivers and guidance relevent to the community, or willingness to learn
  • Some clinical skills relevant to the role
