City Year Ameri Corps members coach and mentor students across elementary, middle, and/or high schools to support academic success, attendance, and positive behavior. Training of 2–4 weeks is provided at the start of the year, with ongoing support from partner teachers and school staff.
Responsibilities include 1:1 and small-group tutoring, coordinating literacy and math activities, and collaborating to monitor progress using City Year’s data system.
