Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior OT Security Engineer & Security Analyst to play a key role in securing Munters' industrial environments. The role will focus on standardizing security capabilities across our factories
, supporting Smart Factory initiatives

- Design, implement, and maintain OT security controls across diverse industrial environments.
- Standardize security architectures, processes, and tooling for factory environments worldwide.
- Support deployment of OT security monitoring, network segmentation, and endpoint protection.
- Partner with Smart Factory & digitalization teams to ensure security is embedded in new initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert for OT-related security incidents and investigations.
- Support enterprise-wide incident detection, response, and recovery activities.
- Collaborate with IT Security Operations Center (SOC) and external partners during investigations.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis and feed lessons learned into improved security measures.
- Work closely with factory engineering, production, and digitalization teams.
- Contribute to the development of global OT security standards, policies, and playbooks.
- Provide training and awareness for plant‑level teams on cybersecurity risks and response.
- Report on OT security posture and incident trends to senior management.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant exposure to OT environments (manufacturing, IC S/SCADA, IIoT, etc.).
- Proven experience in security incident response and forensic investigations.
- Security certifications meriting (e.g. GICSP, CSSA, CISSP
- Strong understanding of OT systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES) and relevant protocols.
- Knowledge of industrial network security, segmentation (e.g. Purdue), and monitoring.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF & ISO 27001.
- Familiarity with legislation and directives such as CRA & NIS2
- Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, forensic tools, and incident response platforms.
- Solid grasp of IT and OT security convergence.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and operational teams.
- Ability to balance security requirements with production reliability and uptime.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem‑solving mindset.
