You must be able to engage confidently with researchers, engineers, and business leaders alike, translating complexity into clear, compelling value propositions that build trust and foster enduring business relationships.

We seek a professional with exceptional technical and business acumen, someone who can seamlessly bridge the worlds of R&D, science, and innovation. Your work will directly contribute to cutting‑edge technologies and solutions shaping a sustainable and advanced future: from carbon‑free nuclear energy and revolutionary cancer treatments to next‑generation lithium batteries and the chemistry powering AI‑driven microchips.

  • Your influence will extend across our commercial strategy as you collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, marketing, and product management teams to deliver impactful, customer‑focused results that drive both innovation and growth.
Main Responsibilities
  • Generate and qualify leads through Inert’s database, cold calling, and incoming web inquiries, demonstrating a proactive attitude and strong drive to hunt for new projects.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to sales inquiries and customer concerns via phone, email, or in‑person meetings.
  • Prepare and execute effective sales actions plans and strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong customer base and manage business activities through Inert’s ERP system — creating opportunities, building sales forecasts, and preparing detailed quotations and technical proposals using Microsoft Office and the ERP platform.
  • Deliver engaging presentations of company products and services to existing and potential clients, developing technical concepts and customized solutions tailored to specific environments or customer requirements.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships built on trust and technical credibility.
  • Identify and participate in key sales events and trade shows to promote brand awareness, present Inert’s technical solutions, and expand your professional network.
  • Monitor competitors, market trends, and product developments, sharing insights and innovative ideas with the engineering team to support continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally, to meet clients, attend events, or support project activities.
Education and Experience
  • Strong technical background with a college or university degree in science or engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of technical systems, automation, engineering, or manufacturing products.
  • Proven negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles and complex projects.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to rephrase and synthesize information effectively.
  • Self‑motivated and adaptable, with strong organizational skills, independence, and tenacity in achieving goals and sales targets.

Job Type: Full‑time
