Position: Provincial Engineer with DUC
Elevate your engineering career at Ducks Unlimited Canada as a Provincial Engineer. This role focuses on dam safety inspections, design management, and planning within a hybrid work environment.

You will be part of a dedicated engineering team responsible for managing dam safety and contributing to wetland conservation in Atlantic Canada. This position requires expertise in civil engineering and involves leading safety efforts, emergency planning, and project delivery. With a collaborative spirit, you’ll manage contracts, provide leadership in hydrotechnical projects, and assist in resource management for successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead dam safety inspections and emergency plan preparation

• Manage design and construction contracts effectively

• Provide expert hydrotechnical and civil engineering guidance

• Assist in team resource management and project planning

• Conduct fieldwork, including remote inspections

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geological Engineering

• Professional Engineer designation in Canada

• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience

• Strong planning and project management skills

• Valid class 5 driver’s license and flexibility to travel
