Position: Detail-Oriented Technical Drafter Role
Emmerson Packaging seeks a Technical Drafter focused on precision and design innovation. This full-time role is vital for developing flexible packaging specifications and ensuring quality across projects.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for creating die lines, developing production layouts, and managing documentation. Collaborating with graphic designers and sales teams, you will ensure that packaging solutions meet customer needs. Your innovation and attention to detail will shine through in prototype development and evaluations of existing samples.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create precise templates for graphic layouts

• Develop layouts for production including perforation processes

• Conduct quality checks on technical drawings

• Hand-make and evaluate prototypes for packaging

• Assist teams with conceptual designs and communication

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Drafting or related field

• Strong proficiency in design software tools

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Attention to detail in technical documentation

• Experience in packaging materials and graphic layouts preferred
