Take on a role as Cleaning Staff with the Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education. This casual custodian position focuses on maintaining cleanliness in schools located in several counties.
The Chignecto Family of Schools is looking for temporary custodians who may transition to permanent roles. This position is casual, meaning that hours can vary based on needs. A valid Nova Scotia Driver's License and knowledge of cleaning techniques are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure cleanliness of classrooms and common areas
• Operate and maintain cleaning tools and equipment
• Complete mandatory training sessions for custodial best practices
• Comply with safety standards through WHMIS training
• Transport yourself to various school locations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Must possess a valid N.S. Driver's License
• Familiarity with modern cleaning practices is a plus
• Must be open to safety training
• Criminal record and child abuse checks required
Serve the Chignecto-Central Schools and contribute to a clean educational environment.
