In this on-site role, the CNC Machinist will engage in aviation and aerospace manufacturing. You will need to interpret engineering drawings, set up tools, and operate CNC machines. Precision and attention to detail are crucial as you verify dimensions and assemble components with tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
• Measure and prepare work pieces for assembly
• Set up and operate computer-controlled machines
• Fit and assemble components to precision specifications
• Document any deviations from specifications
• Repair machine tools and parts as needed
Requirements:
• Certification as a Machinist or Tool and Die Maker
• Experience with CNC and conventional machinery
• Basic security clearance required
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Willingness to stand for extended periods
