Position: Cumberland Healthcare Security Officer Role
Secure healthcare services as a Full-Time Healthcare Security Officer at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre. Work Monday through Friday, focusing on safety and incident response.

This role demands diligence in safeguarding patients, staff, and visitors at the Amherst health care facility. Your duties entail regular patrols, monitoring surveillance, and managing access to ensure security protocols are enforced. Timely responses to emergencies are essential, as is delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol hospital grounds and monitor critical areas

• Operate security cameras and alarms effectively

• Maintain access control for hospital zones

• React promptly to emergencies and assist staff

• Offer guidance and support to patients and visitors

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Security License in Nova Scotia

• Current Intermediate First Aid & CPR - Level C

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken

• Experience in security or law enforcement is a plus

• Must have certifications in Use of Force and Management of Aggressive Behavior
