Job Description
The Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst seeks applications from talented candidates for one tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start in September 2026.
The primary research interests for candidates are those who specialize in either behavioral finance or archival audit. However, candidates in other areas of accounting research are welcome to apply. Those who complement our current faculty research portfolio will be considered.
Under exceptional circumstances, highly qualified candidates at other ranks may receive consideration.
RequirementsCandidates must have or expect to complete a Ph.D. in Accounting by September 2026. Candidates must have expertise or evident potential in providing high-quality teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, across face-to-face and online instructional modalities. Further, candidates should show evidence of, or potential for, publishing in top research journals.
Application InstructionsThe committee will begin reviewing applications on November 15, 2025 and will continue accepting applications until a successful candidate is found. The position is contingent on final funding approval.
