Stavros seeks a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to join our TAKE CHARGE program in Amherst. The role involves delivering brief, scalable psychological interventions to help participants manage stress, strengthen coping skills, and improve day‑to‑day functioning.

• Deliver TAKE CHARGE sessions to individuals in the community following program guidelines and training.
• Provide emotional support and practical guidance to help participants manage stress, solve problems, and strengthen coping skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in accordance with agency and program requirements.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, clinicians, and other team members to ensure high‑quality support.
• Conduct community outreach to identify and engage potential participants for the TAKE CHARGE program.

• Experience working with people with disabilities and/or identify as having a disability.
• Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and support individuals with diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to the Independent Living philosophy.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Hourly salary: $20.00
