Master Mechanic

Taylor Davis Landscape & Construction is seeking a dedicated and skilled Master Mechanic to join our team. As a Master Mechanic, you will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our diverse fleet of vehicles and machinery. • Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy operating equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and more.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure equipment efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.
• Weld and create forms to fix equipment as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Coordinate with Shop and Yard Managers to schedule and prioritize repairs based on company needs.

• Proven experience as a mechanic working with heavy operating equipment.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other equipment components.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
