Ysgol Dyffryn Aman is seeking two English Teachers to join our team from September 2026. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to teach GCSE and A-Level English courses.

We are looking for educators with a passion for teaching and a commitment to inspiring a love of Literature. The role is a fantastic opportunity for both newly qualified teachers and those with more experience to make a significant impact in our students' educational journey.

The successful candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, enthusiasm for the subject, and a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning. You will design and deliver engaging lessons that foster curiosity, challenge learners, develop literacy and inspire reading for pleasure. You will also play an active role in curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.

DBS level: An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk

Welsh language level - verbal Level 2 - You will need a basic level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
