Teacher of Geography - Maternity Fixed Term
Salary: £33,731 - £51,942 (MPR2 - UPR3)

Role OverviewThe successful candidate will teach all stages of the Geography curriculum, including GCSE and A-Level examination classes. The maternity post commences on 1 September 2026 and ends 3 January 2027. The contract is a full‑time temporary/secondment position based in Ammanford.
Responsibilities- Plan, deliver, and assess Geography lessons across all stages.
- Provide timely feedback and monitor student progress.
- Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching practices.
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
- Welsh is essential. Level 5 verbal Welsh required – reasonable support can be provided on appointment.
- Enhanced DBS check with barred list disclosure required.
