Employment Type: Part-time 22.5 HPW, Full-time 37.5 and 45 HPW contracts

Base Salary: up to £14.42/HR

Essentials: The ability to drive is preferred but not essential for this post.

Qualifications: Full Training provided;
Higher rate for QCF Level 2 qualified candidates

Join our passionate team at M&D Care as a Care Assistant in our specialist residential service in Ammanford SA18 2DR
and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults. As a Support Worker, you will provide emotional and practical care in a residential setting. No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but having the right values is important to us. TH IS ROLE WILL INCLUDE WORKING NIGHTS.

WE ARE RECRUTING FOR IMMEDIATE STARTS AS WELL AS SEPTEMBER/ OCTOBER STARTS

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
• Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping.
• Promote independence, dignity, and well-being through engaging and meaningful activities.
• Work autonomously while maintaining the safety and respect of those you support.
• Comply with regulatory standards set by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.
• Work flexibly on a rota basis, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.

• A variety of contracted hours available (22.5 to 45 hours per week)
• Shift patterns vary and include weekends and night shifts on a rota basis
• No prior experience required – full training provided
• Opportunity to gain a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care after probation, with full support
• Previous experience for this role would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
