Male Domestic Abuse Support Worker

28 hours per week Salary: £13.46 per hour Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday We are looking for a compassionate and resilient Support Worker to provide trauma-informed support to male survivors of domestic abuse across accommodation and community-based services.
Key Responsibilities Provide emotional and practical support to male victims of domestic abuse Complete risk and needs assessments and develop support plans Support clients to access housing, benefits, healthcare and other services Manage a caseload and provide community outreach support Deliver recovery-focused interventions and programmes Work with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes Maintain accurate records and safeguarding responsibilities Essential Requirements Experience supporting vulnerable adults or families Understanding of domestic abuse and safeguarding Strong communication, advocacy and organisational skills Ability to manage a varied workload independently and as part of a team Good IT skills Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Desirable Experience in domestic abuse, housing, refuge or support services Experience delivering group work or recovery programmes Relevant Health & Social Care qualification Welsh language skills This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team and make a real difference to the lives of people affected by domestic abuse.
