Temporary Labourer at American Iron & Metal

Join American Iron & Metal in Amos as a temporary Labourer, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sort metals and ensure safe operations to support our recycling efforts.

In this role, you will report to the Site Manager and engage in sorting various metals while contributing to daily operations. Your responsibilities include preparing materials to meet quality standards and operating equipment like forklifts. This position offers a dynamic environment where your contributions help promote sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort metals based on their characteristics

• Prepare materials to meet set quality standards

• Operate machinery, including forklifts

• Maintain clean and safe work areas

• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles

Requirements:

• Experience in metal recycling is an asset

• Knowledge of different metals is a plus

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather

• Good physical condition and reliable

• Punctual and ready to contribute
