Position: Join American Iron & Metal as Labourer
Be part of American Iron & Metal’s Amos operation as a temporary Labourer, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Engage in metal sorting and contribute to sustainability initiatives.

As a Labourer, you will report directly to the Site Manager and be involved in sorting metals, preparing materials, and maintaining equipment. This hands-on role allows you to actively support our operations while ensuring safety and quality standards are met in a dynamic, eco-friendly workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort metals based on defining characteristics

• Ensure materials meet quality control standards

• Operate various machinery, like forklifts

• Keep work areas clean and safe

• Participate in shipping and loading processes

Requirements:

• Familiarity with metal recycling is an advantage

• Knowledge of metals is preferred

• Must be able to work in various weather conditions

• Good physical health and reliable attendance

• Team player with a strong safety focus
