Accounting Supervisor

Role Description  The Accounting Supervisor is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This role includes reviewing and approving journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements, as well as monitoring accounting processes for compliance with applicable standards. The Accounting Supervisor will guide the implementation and effective use of accounting software systems, support month-end and year-end close, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Daily work includes supervising and mentoring accounting staff, resolving complex accounting issues, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to improve financial workflows. The role also involves identifying process improvements, documenting procedures, and supporting audits as needed.

Qualifications
Communication is #1 - must be a strong English speaker and also a great team communicator.
Strong financial accounting expertise, including Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Finance knowledge.
Proficiency with Accounting Software and related financial systems, including implementation and optimization experience - especially in Net Suite, QBO, , Ramp and other accounting software.
Well-developed Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
Proven experience in a supervisory or lead accounting role, with the ability to coach and support team members.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment.
