Vice Principal

We are looking for an  experienced and dynamic Vice Principal  to lead and oversee the  academic, administrative and day-to-day operations  of a leading  CBSE Day Boarding School in Zirakpur,Punjab.

Key Responsibilities  :
Lead academic planning, school administration, and effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum.
Monitor teaching quality, lesson planning, assessments, and student learning outcomes.
Lead, mentor, and develop teachers; conduct classroom observations and performance reviews.
Maintain high standards of student discipline, safety, wellbeing, and school culture.
Oversee day-boarding activities including supervised study, meals, sports, clubs, and enrichment programmes.
Handle parent communication, concerns, and school-level escalations professionally.
Coordinate examinations, timetables, events, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
Ensure effective coordination between academic, administrative, and support teams.
Work closely with the Principal and act as the Principal’s representative/delegate when required.

Skills &

Qualifications:

10+ years of experien ce in school education, with proven leadership/administrative experience .
Postgraduate degree with

B.Ed. (Mandatory ).
Strong understanding o f CBSE curriculum, school systems, and academic process es.
Excellent leadership, communication, organisation, and people-management skills.
A hands-on, student-focused, disciplined, and solution-oriented lead er.
Experience in  a day-boarding/residential school environme nt will be an advantage.
