Head of C & MI AI Engineering
The Head of C&MI AI Engineering acts as a credible and trusted advisor, educating others and serving both internal and external stakeholders. The role drives the development of Digital Engineer and leads the transformation of the global business lines, including AI SDLC and SAFe practices.

Key Responsibilities

Execute the AI Spectrum engineering strategy.

Ensure timely delivery of the roadmap and transparent status updates.

Lead and manage an engineering organization, ensuring optimal structure for portfolio delivery.

Align with CTO and engineering peers on technology strategy, tooling selection, and innovation.

Coach and develop engineering leaders and experts within the team.

Create objectives and development plans aligned with the C&MI strategy and portfolio.

Build a strong engineering culture of continuous learning, design‑centric automation, and AI‑driven processes.

Liaise with partner product organization for co‑engineering and early technology adoption.

Serve as an ambassador of the Atos SAFe process within the organization.

Take ownership of delivery units adoption and successful handover/enablement.

Engage with GEOs/regions to boost adoption.

Support on‑demand customer engagements where deep product expertise is essential.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience building and deploying AI/Agentic solutions.

Background in software development.

Natural leader with high emotional intelligence.

Experience with SDLC, methods, and processes.

Ability to collaborate with various internal stakeholders and external partners.

Strong global growth and portfolio experience.

Scope / Collaborations

C&MI Portfolio  – receive requirements and align roadmap.

C&MI Engineering peers  – align on common way of working and architecture.

C&MI CTO  – review strategy and long‑term roadmap; support technology evaluation.

Alliances  – support portfolio alignment on partner priorities and drive innovation and co‑engineering themes.

GEO and GDCs  – support enablement and adoption of cloud offerings; work in joint‑venture setup where appropriate.
