Coffee Trade Finance Internto join our team.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to specialize in Commodity Finance within the international trade of green coffee, a globally tradedsoft commodity.
This position is suitable for both afinal-year student looking for a graduation internshipand arecent graduate who is eager to learn, gain practical experience, and develop a career in finance and international commodity trading.
Your roleAs a Coffee Trade Finance Intern, you will work closely with our Finance team and get a unique insight into how international coffee transactions are financed, administered, and managed from purchase to delivery and payment.
Your responsibilities will include:- Supporting the Finance team in day-to-day activities
- Processing and checking purchase and sales invoices
- Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assisting with bank payments and reconciliations
- Monitoring outstanding invoices and payments
- Supporting cash flow and working capital management
- Checking and processing trade documentation
- Preparing financial reports and analyses
- Assisting with various finance and trading-related projects
You will get to seeinternational coffee trading from the insideand develop practical knowledge of:
- The global coffee supply chain
- Physical commodity trading
- Soft commodities and the international coffee trade
- Working capital and cash flow management
- International payments and trade documentation
- Foreign currency transactions
- Financial reporting and reconciliation
- How traders, suppliers, customers, logistics partners, and banks work together
Because we are asmall team, you won’t be just another intern. You will be closely involved in our day-to-day business, work directly with experienced colleagues, and have the opportunity to take real responsibility.
Who are we looking for?We are looking for acurious, ambitious, and analytical final-year student or recent graduate who wants to understand both finance and international commodity trading.
You:- Are studying Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Have an interest in international trade, finance, commodities, and/or coffee
- Are analytical and comfortable working with numbers
- Work accurately and have an eye for detail
- Are proactive and eager to learn
- Are comfortable taking responsibility
- Can work independently while enjoying being part of a small team
- Have good communication skills
- Have a good command of English
- Are comfortable working with Excel
Experience in accounting, trade finance, banking, commodity trading, or logistics is a plus, butnot required.
