As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Finance Administrator who enjoys bringing structure, accuracy, and control to financial processes. Someone who takes pride in making sure everything adds up, spotting discrepancies before they become problems, and ensuring a reliable financial administration.
What you’ll doAs a Senior Finance Administrator at Adsomnia, you will be responsible for maintaining an accurate and reliable financial administration. You will be the senior employee within an operational finance team of two, working both independently and supporting your colleague as needed. In addition, you will serve as the point of contact for more complex accounting questions and play a key role in ensuring financial records are complete, reconciliations are performed correctly, and month-end processes run smoothly.
Yourresponsibilities as our Senior Finance Administrator:
- Financial Administration & Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day financial administration, maintain accurate bookkeeping records, and ensure financial transactions are processed correctly and completely.
- Reconciliations & Financial Control: Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and balance sheet accounts. Investigate and resolve discrepancies, imbalances, and accounting issues.
- Month-End & Year-End Closing: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities by preparing reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Audit & Compliance Support: Maintain organized financial records, support external accountants and auditors, and help ensure compliance with accounting requirements and financial regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and administrative efficiency while supporting the effective use of financial systems.
- Team Support: Share your accounting knowledge with colleagues and help maintain high standards of accuracy and quality within the finance function.
- MBO+ or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
- 5-10 years of experience in bookkeeping, financial administration, accounting, or finance operations;
- Experience working with Dutch entities, VAT declarations, and related fiscal processes;
- Experience managing month-end and year-end closing activities;
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems;
- Strong Excel skills;
- Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English;
- You are available to work 24-32 hours per week;
- Accurate, structured, and detail-oriented;
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your work.
