Executive Assistant, EMEA – Expedia Group
Our Executive Assistants (EAs) are critical partners in making that vision real — enabling leaders to operate at their best and helping teams stay focused on what matters most. In this role, you will directly support three leaders in the Expedia Legal and Corporate Affairs (ELCA) organization – our Senior Vice President of Government Affairs (Amsterdam), our Chief Privacy Officer (London) and our Vice President of Legal for B2B Demand (Madrid).
You will also oversee global Government Affairs team operations, creating and maintaining filing systems, managing the budget and contracting, and supporting wider ELCA events or needs.
- Provide strategic calendar management across global time zones, ensuring schedules reflect business priorities and minimize conflicts.
- Coordinate meetings end-to-end, including logistics, AV/technical setup, materials, and (when needed) catering, with clear objectives and agendas.
- Drive effective meeting preparation by aligning with stakeholders, setting workback timelines, and ensuring attendees are prepared.
- Manage domestic and international travel, including registrations, conference logistics, and on-the-road schedules for executives.
- Protect and optimize executive time, helping leaders stay focused on high-impact, strategic priorities.
- Plan and support Global Government Affairs and Privacy team events and on-sites, including logistics, agendas, and on-the-ground execution.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Assist the Global Government Affairs team in policy analysis, using AI and AI agents.
- Support the management of the Global Government Affairs and Privacy team budget and contracting.
- Support other EA’s within the ELCA department during leaves of absence.
- Complete Global Affairs related tasks for lobbying, ethics, and PAC filings.
- Serve as the primary liaison to Accounting and Finance for the Global Affairs team.
- 5+ years of experience supporting senior‑level executives (VP+ or equivalent).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to work across multiple leaders and organizations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook; familiarity with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and One Note.
- Comfort using collaboration tools such as Slack and Zoom (or similar platforms).
- High attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate needs and manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience managing budgets, expenses and filings related to executive activities.
- A steady, composed presence in high‑pressure situations, with strong judgment and discretion.
- Experience supporting Legal or Corporate Affairs business leaders is preferred.
- An interest in and experience working with AI is preferred.
This role is only available in Amsterdam and requires employees to be in‑office at least three days a week. The total cash range for this position in Amsterdam is €47,000.00 to €65,500.00, with potential to increase up to €75,000.00 based on performance.
