This opportunity is ideal for an experienced project or development professional looking to help deliver the next generation of AI data centres across EMEA. The role involves leading projects from acquisition through to construction readiness, coordinating utilities, permitting, engineering, and development activities while helping establish the governance, standards, and delivery processes that will support the organization's continued expansion.
Responsibilities
Lead data center development projects from acquisition through to construction readiness, owning schedules, budgets, milestones and project risks
Coordinate permitting, entitlements, utility planning, infrastructure design and owner obligations to keep projects on track
Manage relationships with utilities, municipalities, consultants, architects and engineering partners throughout the development lifecycle
Lead development governance, readiness reviews and Go/No Go recommendations while providing regular updates to senior leadership
Identify and mitigate development risks before they impact construction, ensuring projects are fully prepared for delivery
Partner with Site Selection, Engineering, Energy, Legal, Finance and Delivery teams to successfully transition projects into construction
Skills/Must Have
8+ years of experience delivering data center, industrial, infrastructure, land development or mission critical projects
Strong experience managing permitting, entitlements, utility coordination, consultant management and pre construction activities
Strong understanding of development planning, infrastructure delivery, project budgeting, scheduling and risk management
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering, utilities, design, legal and construction functions
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and executive presentation skills
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Real Estate Development, Urban Planning or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Desirable Skills
Experience delivering hyperscale or AI infrastructure developments
Experience with utility infrastructure, owner's representation or joint venture developments
Professional Engineer (PE), PMP or equivalent certification
Experience building development standards, governance frameworks and project controls
