We currently have requirements for an EHS Advisor to join their expanding team in Amsterdam, Sweden and Finland. You will be based on one project only, not moving between multiple sites. Please specify your preference of location. This role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices on site, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a strong safety culture across the project.
Please note, candidates must have a valid EU/UK Passport or have the appropriate working visa. There is no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance on offer.
This is a full time permanent position operating on a shift rotational roster with all flights, accommodation, transport + a weekly NET subsistence income all completely covered.
Requirements
Support the implementation of Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures across the project lifecycle
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health & safety standards and identify potential hazards
Assist in carrying out risk assessments and reviewing method statements (RAMS)
Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure adherence to safety requirements
Support incident investigations and assist in the implementation of corrective actions
Promote a strong safety culture through engagement with site teams and subcontractors
Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions as required
Ensure all EHS documentation is maintained, accurate, and up to date
Attend Site Meetings, Safety Meetings, and Toolbox Talks
Support the preparation of EHS reports and safety performance metrics
Advise project teams on health & safety best practices and compliance requirements
Assist in ensuring compliance with environmental and sustainability requirements
Identify and report EHS concerns and support their resolution
Skills & Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or similar discipline
Minimum 2-5 years' experience in an EHS role within construction or engineering
Good knowledge of health & safety legislation, standards, and best practices
Experience supporting EHS activities on construction sites
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to engage with site teams and promote safe working practices
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent) are desirable
Data centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
