Senior HS Advisor

Amsterdam, Netherlands | 12-Month Contract

I am currently seeking an experienced  Senior Health & Safety Advisor  to join a major construction project in Amsterdam. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile project, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance are maintained throughout all phases of delivery.

I am looking for someone with a strong background in  Civils or CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural)  works and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Requirements

Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor or Senior Health & Safety Advisor within construction.

Valid VCA Certificate or SCC Certificate for on site work in Netherlands

Strong Civils/CSA project experience (not M&E-focused).

Experience reviewing and managing  Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) .

Experience maintaining H&S registers, compliance records, and site documentation.

Relevant Health & Safety qualifications and training.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with site teams, contractors, and management.

Responsibilities

Review and monitor RAMS and safe systems of work.

Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations.

Support incident investigations and corrective actions.

Maintain accurate H&S records and compliance documentation.

Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety guidance to site teams.

12-month contract.

Accommodation can be provided.

Travel can be arranged by the contractor or supported every 4 weeks.

Previous Data Centre experience is preferred, however candidates from other large-scale or complex projects such as infrastructure, industrial, pharmaceutical, energy, or mission-critical environments will also be considered.
