At INDG we're looking for a CG supervisor, who will be responsible for continuous oversight of quality and realism of CG stills for our wide range of clients in the automotive industry. INDG does all things 3D, focusing on presenting physical products in digital space in all sorts of interesting ways.

What will you be doing?
  • Review and approve automotive renders at all stages of production, ensuring they meet the visual and technical standards of the industry.
  • Collaborate with production artists to provide direction and precise feedback, ensuring renders achieve photorealism while reflecting the automotive brand's identity.
  • Ensure every render embodies exceptional composition, lighting and shading specifically tailored for automotive visuals.
  • Evaluate renders for technical accuracy and photorealism, ensuring that both full CG renders and backplate integrations are indistinguishable from real photography.
  • Address challenges in 3D scenes to optimize workflows and maintain the quality expected in the automotive industry.
  • Work alongside art directors to align on the artistic vision and ensure that renders effectively communicate the vehicle's design and features.
  • Develop and uphold QA benchmarks that reflect the unique requirements of automotive visualization.
Would be amazing if you have:
  • Experience in the automotive industry: 6+ years in high-end CG production with a portfolio showcasing photorealistic renders of cars.
  • Detail obsession: A critical eye for automotive nuances, including paint finishes, reflections, and surface details.
  • Expertise in composition and lighting:
    Mastery of these principles with an understanding of how they enhance vehicle presentation.
  • Technical skills:
    Proficiency with 3ds Max, Vray and compositing tools, specifically for automotive projects.
  • Backplate integration expertise:
    Knowledge of how to seamlessly blend CG cars into real‑world photography and AI‑generated back plates.
  • Problem‑solving mindset:
    Ability to address challenges unique to automotive rendering, from intricate surface details to complex lighting setups.
  • Passion for cars: A strong affinity for vehicles and their design, enabling you to bring out their best visual representation.
  • Collaborative spirit:
    Ability to guide a team of artists and work with art directors, project managers and clients to deliver high‑quality automotive visuals while meeting project deadlines and client briefings both creatively and technically.
  • Hands‑on expertise:
    Ready to dive into production as needed to meet deadlines and ensure quality standards are upheld.
  • Fluency in English:
    Clear communication in a global, fast‑paced environment.
