Junior-Mid level Social Video Creator​/Editor; div​/f​/m

We’re looking for a Social Video Creator / Editor who can turn raw footage, live streams and half-formed ideas into videos and carousels people actually want to watch. You know what works on Tik Tok, Instagram and You Tube Shorts; you can spot the good moment in a long recording, find an angle, write a strong hook and edit the piece yourself.

You enjoy fostering a community on social media and potentially might even be open to playing a role in front of the camera, too. You’ll work across several clients including eBay, with plenty of room to also help shape new formats and pitches. There’s a few exciting things in the pipeline.

• Turn raw footage, live streams and loose briefs into finished social videos, from selecting the strongest moments and finding the angle to writing the hook and editing the final cut.
• Edit videos yourself for Tik Tok, Instagram Reels and You Tube Shorts, shaping the pacing, captions, sound and visuals for each platform.
• Create social-first carousels and other assets, working with designers and motion specialists when a piece needs their expertise.

• Spot trends, audience conversations and moments worth turning into content, then develop ideas and formats that make sense for each client.
• Help shape content for ongoing accounts, campaigns and pitches, and move quickly when an unplanned opportunity comes up.
• Write sharp German copy, from on-screen text and scripts to captions and community replies.

• Collaborate with creatives, social media managers and production teams on shoots, content plans and publishing.
• Work alongside production teams to produce social content (Tik Tok, Reels, Photos, …)
• Oversee post production of short form video
• Help keep conversations with the community going and use what you learn from the audience to make the next piece stronger.
• If you’re comfortable with it, occasionally step in front of the camera yourself.

• A portfolio of social videos you’ve conceived and edited yourself. We care more about the work than the number of years on your CV.
• Strong hands-on editing skills in Premiere Pro or a comparable professional tool beyond capcut templates. You know how to use pacing, sound, subtitles and graphics to make a video work
• A genuine feel for Tik Tok, Instagram and You Tube Shorts: you understand the platforms, their communities and why people stop scrolling.
• The confidence/patience to sift through raw material, find stories and make creative decisions
• Strong German writing skills, from a sharp on-screen hook to a caption or community reply. You have to be comfortable collaborating in English, too.
• Curiosity, good instincts and an agile way of working. You enjoy sharing ideas, trying things out and making them better with feedback.
