Are you up for the challenge?
As our new  Senior   Brand Identity Designer,  you’ll be the driving force behind brand identity within the agency. You’ll translate clients’ stories, values, and ambitions into distinct visual identities that are both meaningful and strategic. You’ll create recognizable brands through conscious choices in logo, color, typography, tone of voice, and style—elements that together make a brand come alive specifically in a spatial context.

You’ll be the authority on brand development. Within projects, you’ll work closely with spatial, graphic, and experience designers to consistently translate the identity across all disciplines. You can present brand development processes professionally and convincingly to clients and team members, clearly explaining how design choices contribute to brand positioning and experience. Occasionally, you’ll lead creative and strategic brand sessions, helping clients clarify their story and positioning.

You’ll mentor designers who want to delve deeper into brand identity: you’ll guide their growth and share your knowledge and methodology.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Developing and designing impressive brand identities for retail, food service, leisure, or brand experience that meet client needs, together with the other Design Leads and Creative Director.
Strategically consult with clients on decisions to be made in brand development processes.
Professionally presenting brand identity projects internally and externally.
Guiding, directing, and coaching less experienced designers in your discipline.
Helping estimate the required design time for brand identity in new quotes and calculations.
Inspiring the team with the latest trends and developments in the industry and in brand identity development.
Proactively communicating progress to the Design Lead/Creative Director, project manager, and other team members.
Be able to work as the most senior graphic designer in the team of graphic designers.
We expect you to be:
Passionate about brands, brand identities, and graphic design
Have a holistic mindset but specialized brand identity development, showing demonstrable experience in brand identity development. Experience in location-based experiences, retail and food service is a plus.
Ambitious to work internationally for big brands and attractions (international experience is a plus)
A highly creative mind, able to convince and enthuse colleagues and clients
A team player, sparring partner, and self-starter
A flexible attitude: we work with client in different time zones
Proficiency in English (Dutch proficiency is a plus)
University level in graphic design and/or branding
Experienced in working for agencies (minimum of 10 years)
Highly skilled in creative software, such as Adobe Suite, preferably also Sketch Up etc.
Mac and Keynote native
Forward thinking and willingness to learn from others
Strong social and communication skills
