Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
We’re a global bike tour company opening a brand-new store in Amsterdam, and we’re looking for a warm, proactive, and dynamic Customer Experience Associate to join us at an exciting moment of growth.
This role is ideal for someone who’s excited by variety, enjoys working with people, and wants to grow alongside an international business. You’ll be one of the first faces of our Amsterdam location, while also supporting our global customer experience team — with plenty of opportunity to take on more responsibility as the company expands.
About the RoleAs a new store, things will start off relatively quiet in operations, but there will be plenty of online projects to complete — which makes this a great role for a self-starter who’s comfortable working independently and enjoys helping build something from the ground up.
Your role will blend:
- Global customer experience support (online enquiries, bookings, customer questions
- In-store experience — welcoming visitors and representing our brand
- Assisting with bike rentals when customers drop in
As we grow, this role has the potential to evolve significantly, offering opportunities for progression and leadership for the right person.
What You’ll Be Doing- Creating a friendly, positive experience for customers online and in person
- Responding to customer enquiries via email and internal systems
- Greeting walk-in customers and assisting with bike rentals
- Using booking, payment, and customer platforms confidently
- Solving problems thoughtfully and calmly
- Keeping the store running smoothly day to day
- Contributing ideas and helping improve processes — your input matters

- Based in Amsterdam
- Comfortable in a customer-facing role
- Able to manage your time and responsibilities independently
- Dutch language skills
- Experience in customer experience, hospitality, tourism, or retail
- An interest in travel, bikes, or working with international customers

This is a full-time role. Hours may be flexible to begin with, especially during the early launch phase.
