Customer Service Specialist

Location: Amsterdam area

Contract: 37.5 hours per week, 7 months

Languages: English and Spanish (Italian and/or Polish are a plus)

Where will you work?

For a client in the medical devices sector, we are seeking a Customer Service Specialist who speaks Spanish and English (additional languages such as Italian or Polish are advantageous).

The role's purpose is to support the EMEA region by providing excellent customer service to both direct customers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage relationships with customers to foster business growth
  • Manage orders proactively, ensuring timely responses and accurate processing
  • Handle customer queries promptly and professionally, maintaining communication and developing long-term solutions
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, IT, and finance teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Review and improve work processes for maximum efficiency
  • Perform back-office tasks such as pricing, billing, account management, and backorder management
  • Report and escalate product and service complaints in line with policies
  • Take ownership of customer inquiries and resolve issues quickly and courteously
  • Inform customers about products, promotions, and services
  • Work independently and as part of the team on projects to ensure operational accuracy
  • Promote continuous improvement and LEAN thinking
  • Share knowledge and assist in training colleagues
  • Support the Product Support Team as needed

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish;
    Italian or Polish is a plus
  • Experience in customer service, order management, or sales support
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong written communication skills with stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in an international, high-paced environment
