Customer Advisor

Role Summary

You will work as a Customer Advisor within the BTB & International department, responsible for handling debt file processing in an international context. Your goal is to collect outstanding receivables as quickly, accurately and completely as possible.

You will have daily contact with customers and their representatives and work closely with Intrum offices and partners worldwide.

• Process payment requests via email, letter and telephone
• Set up payment arrangements
• Achieve fast and complete collection
• Answer questions and objections from customers and authorized representatives in a professional and solution-oriented manner
• Document actions, changes and contact moments; maintain up-to-date and complete dossiers
• Coordinate with clients: request and assess file information, ensure optimum dossier flow
• Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements
• Keep up with training via NVI and Intrum Academy

• Minimum of a completed MBO 3 education or higher (preferably legal or administrative)
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Strong communicative skills
• Assertive, decisive and convincing
• Service-oriented and focused on First‑Time‑Right

• Salary between €2461 and €3515, depending on experience
• Hybrid working (office in Amsterdam + home)
• Fixed‑term contract with a view to a permanent role
