Outline
The NWO Talent Programme | Veni - Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH ) from the Dutch Research Council (NWO) supports recent PhD graduates to conduct independent research in the Netherlands. The aim is to contribute to the researcher’s development within the research areas of the Social Sciences and Humanities.
The closing date for pre-proposals is September 1, 2026. Full applications are due January 26, 2027.
What is funded
The funding provides up to 320,000 EUR.
Duration
Up to 3 years.
Candidates may only apply if they have obtained their PhD in the past three years, irrespective of whether they hold tenured positions, and whether they come from the Netherlands or abroad.
