We zoeken enthousiaste IT-docenten die kinderen willen helpen om zelf games, apps, robots en websites te maken. Een onderwijsbevoegdheid is niet nodig; technische kennis, energie en plezier in het werken met kinderen vinden we belangrijker.
Over Impact Academies
Impact Academies is opgericht in 2017 en inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een internationale technologieacademie voor kinderen, met meer dan 90 vestigingen wereldwijd en ruim 86 praktijkgerichte lesprogramma’s die schermtijd omzetten in creatieve leertijd.
Wat ga je doen?
- Je geeft interactieve, praktijkgerichte lessen in programmeren en technologie aan kinderen.
- Je begeleidt leerlingen bij het maken van games, apps, websites en robotica-projecten aan de hand van het curriculum en de lesmaterialen van Impact Academies.
- Je stimuleert creativiteit, logisch denken en samenwerken, en geeft kinderen het vertrouwen om te experimenteren en van fouten te leren.
- Je zorgt voor een positieve, inclusieve en veilige leeromgeving waarin ieder kind zich gezien en ondersteund voelt.
- Je werkt met gestructureerde lesplannen en brengt tegelijkertijd je eigen energie, voorbeelden en ideeën mee in de les.
- Je hebt oprechte interesse in programmeren, robotica, technologie en games, en beschikt over basiskennis van programmeren of digitale tools.
- Je beheerst het Nederlands vloeiend en kunt goed communiceren in het Engels.
- Je werkt graag met kinderen en kunt ideeën geduldig, duidelijk en enthousiast uitleggen.
- Je bent betrouwbaar en regelmatig beschikbaar, vooral op doordeweekse middagen en in het weekend.
- Ervaring met lesgeven of jeugdwerk is een pré, maar niet vereist.
- Een uurloon van €16 tot €22, afhankelijk van je ervaring.
- Een flexibel rooster met een minimale inzet van 6 uur per week, op doordeweekse middagen en in het weekend.
- Een goede inwerkperiode, training en direct inzetbare lesplannen en lesmaterialen.
- Een prettige, goed uitgeruste leslocatie in Amsterdam.
- Ondersteuning van een ambitieus internationaal team met hart voor onderwijs en technologie.
