The Asset Management team:
Sunrock’s Asset Management team is responsible for the safe and excellent performance of our assets (Solar-PV and Batteries). We have defined our purpose as: taking care of Sunrock’s installed assets to ensure that we meet our long-term commitment to all parties involved, while realizing and optimizing the value of our portfolio. This portfolio currently consists of 250 assets with 500 MWp installed Solar-PV capacity, and we also operate a handful of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
The majority of our assets are Solar PV installations on rooftops as well as some ground- and floating Solar PV installations. We are further expanding our portfolio with battery energy storage and energy management solutions. Every day we focus on maximizing the output and value from our assets while we make sure that we deliver on our commitment to all parties involved.
Our department is in full swing; we are developing and improving our ways of working while we operate our assets on a daily basis. We are a growing department of eleven people with different backgrounds, nationalities, gender, age, and expertise.
Your Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
In this job as Assistant Asset Manager (focus NL) you will fulfill the role of Onboarding Coordinator. You will work on the ‘finish line’ of the project teams and the ‘start line’ of the Asset Management and Energy teams from Business Unit Energy & Assets. Your job is to act as a linking pin between the project teams and the teams in Energy & Assets that will take over the operational asset.
This means that you will make sure that newly developed assets are ready for operations on the first day when they come into the operational portfolio of Energy & Assets. Traditionally, Sunrock’s focus has been on the development of Solar-PV assets, but our offering is expanding with Integrated Energy Solutions (Batteries, Local Energy Solutions, EV charging). Therefore, the Onboarding Coordinator will also have to help adjust the handover process to these new products and services.
The day-to-day tasks include (for example):
Making sure that all agreements related to the assets are stored in our contract management software and contractual obligations are recorded so they can be fulfilled in the future.
Monitoring project planning and sharing deviations with the teams in Energy & Assets, to ensure they are ready for taking the project over.
Providing administrative support, such as activation of bank guarantees and setting up purchase orders for future payments of various invoices.
Monitoring important (external) project deadlines, especially those important for compliance with legislation or future revenues of the assets.
Organizing and preparing handover meetings between the project teams and the Asset Managers.
What You Bring To The Table:
You have at least 5 years of work experience in an administrative role, project assistant, customer service, document manager, or similar, preferably in a commercial and technical organization.
You’re savvy with various software tools.
