Join us for the Energy Consultant with Dutch - Procurement and Transition role at E&C Consultants.

Responsibilities
Risk Strategy: advising clients on minimizing energy‑buying risks, developing purchasing and renewable strategies, and negotiating contracts.
Market Analysis: identifying trends, opportunities, and insights within the energy and risk management sectors.
Sustainability and green energy buying: exploring best green energy solutions (solar, wind, cogeneration, etc.) and supporting clients in contracting them.
Projects: assessing possibilities for renewable Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and innovative energy sourcing projects.
Qualifications
Mindset: confident communicator, organized, resilient, eager to learn, creative problem‑solver.
Energy enthusiasm: following energy market trends, curious about regulations and innovation shaping the energy transition.
Analytical strength: ability to interpret data, run calculations, and draw insights during tendering processes.
Experience in client‑facing roles: 1‑2 years preferred; however, if you have less or more, feel it’s a fit, apply.
Education:
bachelor’s degree in Consulting, Business or Energy Management, or related field preferred. A different degree which you feel fits is also welcome.
Knowledge: a basic understanding of energy markets or risk management is an asset – we’ll train you thoroughly.
Languages:
English and Dutch fluency required;
German a strong plus.
Travel: willingness to travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events and collaborate with team members internationally.

Assessment: online ability tests and personality questionnaire – 45 min.
Final round interview: business case (can be prepared in advance) & discussion on the online assessment + meeting the team – 90 min.
