A day in the life
The Director, Data Center Power Procurement leads power strategy and utility engagement for Prologis data center development across Europe, supporting both new developments and conversions of existing assets. The role manages the power procurement lifecycle from feasibility and interconnection through grid connection, energy supply, tariff, and related contract negotiations. Working closely with Prologis Energy, Development, Finance, Legal, Government Affairs, and Marketing, this role aligns power availability, project economics, regulatory requirements, and infrastructure strategy with development timelines and business objectives.

Monitor and assess national and EU energy regulatory, policy, and technology developments, partnering with Government Affairs and Legal to evaluate impacts on existing projects and the development pipeline and to support policy strategies relevant to Prologis objectives.

Build and maintain relationships with utilities, transmission system operators, regulators, power consultants, marketers, designers, equipment vendors, and other regional stakeholders to support consistent and timely delivery of power.

Support development, finance, legal, and marketing activities through financial modelling, contract coordination, utility strategy, and power-related input for data center lease and sale transactions.
