Role Overview
We are seeking a technically strong  Medior Naval Architect  to support high-end yacht and shipbuilding projects within a dynamic and quality-driven engineering environment.

In this role, you will contribute to performance analysis, stability assessments, and overall vessel optimization across different project phases. You will work closely with structural, outfitting, and production teams to ensure vessels meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform naval architecture calculations and technical analyses

Contribute to weight estimation, weight control, and monitoring processes

Conduct stability calculations and hydrostatic evaluations

Analyze vessel behavior related to hydrodynamics and vibrations

Support design optimization to improve performance and efficiency

Ensure compliance with classification society rules and maritime regulations

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle

Profile Requirements

Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in naval architecture

Candidates with at least 3 years of continuous and relevant experience will also be considered

Experience in superyacht projects is highly desirable

Strong knowledge of:

Weight control and weight management

Stability and hydrostatics

Vibrations and structural response

Hydrodynamics and vessel performance

Analytical mindset and strong technical accuracy

Ability to work independently within structured engineering processes

Valid EU work permit / right to work in the Netherlands is required
