Position Overview
A leading global healthcare equipment manufacturer is seeking a Japanese Speaking Service Engineer (Microscopy) to join its Healthcare Division in Amstelveen. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of high-end microscopy systems, as well as providing technical support and training to customers. The role involves occasional travel within Europe, 2–3 times a month.

37.5 hours per week

Salary: €4,000-6,000 per month (Negotiable)

Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of high-end microscopy systems

Provide customer training and operational support

Collaborate with European service teams and senior engineers

Assist with project reporting and KPI tracking

Support internal and external process improvement initiatives

Follow technical manuals, checklists, and standard operating procedures

Work under guidance from senior engineers or team leaders

Ideal Candidate

Technical degree or equivalent practical experience

Hands‑on experience with microscopy or optical inspection systems

Experience working in an international environment preferred

Proficient in installation, repair, and maintenance of complex equipment, ideally healthcare products

Fluent in English (written and spoken);
Japanese required for customer support

Willingness to work at the workshop daily and travel occasionally within Europe

Valid work authorization for the Netherlands
