- We are looking for a Lead Engineer Instrumentation to oversee the design, development, and implementation of instrumentation systems for offshore energy projects, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

- Tasks & responsibilities:

Manage and mentor a team of instrumentation engineers, guiding project work and professional development.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems with other project components.

Oversee the selection, specification, and procurement of instrumentation equipment, ensuring compatibility and compliance with project specifications.

Develop and implement instrumentation strategies, plans, and procedures to enhance project execution and operational efficiency.

Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments to ensure the reliability and safety of instrumentation systems.

Stay ahead of technological advancements in instrumentation and control systems, applying innovative solutions to projects where applicable.

Serve as the primary technical contact for instrumentation engineering matters, liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers.

Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets, identifying and addressing potential delays or cost overruns related to instrumentation engineering.

Prepare and review technical documentation including design drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements Lead Engineer Instrumentation

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering within the offshore energy sector or similar industries.

Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, with strong project management skills.

Proficient in the design and implementation of complex instrumentation and control systems.

Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations about instrumentation in offshore environments.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate and apply new technologies in instrumentation.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in using instrumentation design analysis software tools.

Fluent in English;
Dutch language proficiency is a plus but not mandatory, with a willingness to learn if necessary.
