Profile Senior Instrumentation Engineer
Are you an experienced Instrumentation Engineer with a strong background in designing and implementing complex instrumentation systems for industrial projects?

- We are looking for a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to design, review, and implement instrumentation systems for projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications and project requirements while coordinating closely with clients and maintenance teams.

- Tasks & responsibilities:

Review and analyse P&IDs, Isometric drawings, and 3D modelling to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Prepare and issue Instrument Basis of Design and Project Specifications for DCS, SIS, BMS, and PLC systems, as well as instrumentation for packaged equipment.

Develop, review, and approve instrument data sheets for various field instruments, including control valves, on-off valves, safety relief valves, and others.

Verify calculations for orifice plate bore, control valve Cv, pressure safety valves (PSVs), and other critical instrumentation components.

Demonstrate a proactive and pragmatic approach to problem-solving and project execution.

Take ownership of project scope, budget, and schedule to ensure successful project delivery.

Work independently on field engineering and design activities, providing reports to the customer and project engineer.

Coordinate closely with the maintenance organisation to ensure smooth project implementation and operation.

Requirements Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Fluency in Dutch is mandatory due to client requirements.

Proven experience in instrumentation engineering, particularly in field engineering and design activities.

Strong ability to review and interpret technical drawings such as P&IDs, Isometric drawings, and 3D models.

Expertise in preparing and reviewing Instrument Basis of Design and Project Specifications for DCS, SIS, BMS, PLC systems, and instrumentation for packaged equipment.

Competence in developing and verifying instrument data sheets and performing related calculations (e.g., orifice plates, control valves, PSVs)

Proactive and pragmatic mindset with the ability to take ownership of project scope, budget, and schedule.

Ability to work independently and effectively report to the customer and project engineer.

Experience in coordinating with maintenance organisations to ensure successful project outcomes.
