Do you have experience designing innovative process engineering solutions for offshore energy projects? Can you lead a team of engineers towards setting new standards in process engineering?

- We are looking for a Lead Engineer Process to oversee the development and optimisation of process engineering solutions for offshore energy projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with environmental standards.

- Tasks & responsibilities:

Oversee the development and implementation of process engineering solutions.

Lead a team of process engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and direction to ensure project and technical objectives are met.

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate process engineering solutions within overall project design and execution.

Manage the process design phase, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and system simulations.

Ensure all process engineering activities comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.

Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments to optimise process designs for efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

Develop and implement innovative process engineering matters with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Provide guidance and expertise in addressing technical challenges that may arise throughout project implementation.

Mentor and develop junior process engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Requirements Lead Engineer Process

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.

Professional engineering certification or equivalent is an advantage.

3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the offshore energy sector.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience guiding and mentoring a team.

Positive and proactive personality, with a strong motivation for project success.

Fluent in English for effective communication.

Proficiency in Dutch is highly valued, though not mandatory. Candidates should be open to learning Dutch.

Ability to act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external project communications.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimising process efficiency and safety.

Excellent organisational and project management abilities, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
