Junior structural engineer

Position: Junior structural engineer (32-40 hours)

Vroom Funderingstechnieken, a growing family business, is seeking a new colleague like you. You will be working in a young and dynamic team that supports you with geotechnical calculations, preparing estimates, and providing advice on project execution.
Your responsibilities  As a structural engineer at Vroom, you will have a dynamic and varied set of tasks. Your specialist knowledge adds value from the design and estimation phase to the execution of our projects. Your responsibilities include:
Preparing geotechnical calculations
Optimizing pile foundations
Designing and proposing alternative pile foundations
Determining the required pile reinforcement
Advising on execution and work sequence
Identifying risks and opportunities and responding accordingly
Contributing to the reduction of disruption by converting driven systems to vibration-free and/or noise-free techniques
Reducing CO2 emissions by switching to cleaner or more applicable techniques
Supporting the sales department
Participating in the execution and interpretation of load tests
Supporting the further development of our products
Participating in special projects as a project engineer
