At Progress, the  Senior Project Manager Engineering  will take on exciting challenges in life sciences projects.

Your role

Work with or lead multidisciplinary teams, including experts such as architects, end-users, and fit‑out installers.

Lead projects and support feasibility studies.

Manage or participate in design and construction projects.

Provide expert advice on GMP and high‑containment manufacturing for facility fit‑out, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Define and lead the qualification process to ensure facilities meet GMP and Biosafety licensing requirements.

Experience :  10+ years of experience  in projects and/or operations within the life sciences industry, with a strong focus on engineering and biotech processing;

Expertise :
Expert in feasibility studies, basic and/or conceptual design studies for production processes, process installations, clean rooms, clean utilities and facilities. In‑depth knowledge of key‑points of design, risk mitigation, and contamination control;

Knowledge  of pharmaceutical production equipment and the cGMP/EU/FDA requirements;

Education :
University or Higher Professional Education (HBO) degree in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical or mechanical engineering or similar;

Project Management :
Proven track record on leading projects from design to completion stage with a strong stakeholder management, planning and communication skills in Dutch and English;

Mobility :
Demonstrates flexibility and readiness to travel when required for successful project execution and effective client collaboration.
