Als Digital Project Engineer sta je midden in de actie en leid je projecten die de toekomst van de grootste chocolade fabriek bepalen. Denk aan het installeren van cobots, AMRs, pallet loaders en de nieuwste innovaties voor slimme procesbesturing.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de levering en coördinatie van kapitaalinvesteringen gerelateerd aan digitale techniek en je deelt technische kennis en expertise met je collegas.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Delivering several capital investment projects simultaneously:  Research and evaluate emerging digitalization and automation technologies to identify solutions suitable for specific project requirements in collaboration with regional and global engineering.
System Integration and Implementation:  Oversee the integration and implementation of digitalization and advanced automation systems within existing manufacturing infrastructure.
Customization and Configuration:  Customize and configure digitalization and automation solutions to meet the unique requirements of manufacturing processes.
Compliance and Standards Adherence:  Ensure that digitalization and automation projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, safety, and quality guidelines.

Risk Management:

Identify and manage project risks associated with digitalization and automation initiatives.
Handover to Operations:  Facilitate the transition of completed projects to operations and technical teams.
Stakeholder Communication:  Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Budget and Resource Management:  Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
Training and Knowledge Transfer:  Provide training and support to end-users and operational staff.
Vendor and Supplier Management:  Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to procure hardware, software, and services required for digitalization and automation projects.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree or working & thinking on bachelor level.
Proven analytical capability and change management capability.
3-5 years engineering/technical experience, with relevant project management experience in the Food-industry.
A good and broad knowledge of Process, Packaging is required.
Knowledge in digitalization and/or IT and Controls.
