SLAM Engineer - Simultaneous Localization and Mapping / AR/VR / Sensor Fusion / C++ / Python
We're partnered with a leading global technology company as they expand their XR research team in Europe - they are looking for a SLAM Engineer to help shape the future of Augmented and Virtual Reality.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting‑edge computer vision, machine learning, and real‑time perception systems powering next‑generation immersive devices.

This is a permanent role, working 100% onsite in Amsterdam.

This is an international company and visas and relocation can be arranged.

What you’ll be doing :

Develop advanced SLAM and perception systems for XR platforms

Build efficient computer vision and deep learning solutions for real‑time applications

Work on 3D tracking, scene understanding, sensor fusion, and pose estimation

Collaborate across architecture, APIs, and system design

See your work deployed on industry‑leading hardware and devices

What we’re looking for:

Strong background in 3D computer vision and SLAM

Experience with tracking, calibration, reconstruction, and optimization

Solid C++ and Python skills

Experience with PyTorch or Tensor Flow

Understanding of AR/VR systems

Nice to have skills:

Embedded or mobile development experience

Experience with CI/CD pipelines

MSc with industry experience or PhD in a relevant field
