Senior Electrical Engineer - Industrial HV Systems

Intro information  Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to take on challenging and impactful industrial projects? Join our client’s team and work on both single- and multidisciplinary projects in the low, medium, and high-voltage domains.
Company information  Our client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer who will play a key role in designing electrical systems for industrial and energy-related projects. These range from low- to high-voltage installations and include emergency power systems, lighting, motors and drives, earthing, lightning protection, and conducting complex calculations such as short-circuit, load flow, and cable sizing.
Vacancy information  In this role, you’ll translate client requirements into optimal and practical technical designs across various project stages. You will be involved in writing reports, providing technical advice, performing calculations, creating diagrams and schematics, and preparing layouts and equipment lists.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that contribute to emission reduction, energy savings, and operational safety in diverse industrial sectors such as waste processing and steel manufacturing. Depending on your preference, you can work onsite at client locations or from our client’s modern, well-equipped office.

This role offers much more than just technical challenges. You’ll collaborate in a 3D multidisciplinary environment alongside passionate experts from other technical disciplines.
What do you need   At least 7 years of experience working for engineering company
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or related field
Solid experience in low-, medium-, and/or high-voltage systems
Proficient in designing and calculating electrical systems (e.g. cable sizing, short-circuit resistance, emergency power, lighting)
Skilled in AutoCAD
Knowledge of Intelec and Caneco is a plus
Fluent in Dutch or willing to learn the language
